Diagnosis before commitment

An SEO audit that tells you what to do next

Find out where search visibility is being lost, which opportunities deserve attention and what your team should do first. A useful audit connects technical evidence with content, customer intent and business priorities.

A straightforward working process

Know what is being done.
Understand why it matters.

No mystery checklist. Your business priorities determine the SEO work.

  1. STEP 01

    Understand

Your business, customers, market and the work that is worth winning.

  2. STEP 02

    Prioritize

A research-led roadmap with a clear order, ownership and measurable goals.

  3. STEP 03

    Implement

Technical fixes, useful pages and a conversion path that works on real devices.

  4. STEP 04

    Review

Search performance and qualified inquiries, then the next set of decisions.

Answer a business question

You may need to understand a traffic decline, decide whether a new agency’s plan makes sense, prepare for a redesign or work out why visitors do not enquire. Those are different questions, and the audit should be designed to answer yours.

Before the review begins, we agree on the scope and the decision it should support. That keeps the work focused on useful evidence rather than filling a long document with every possible SEO topic.

Review the technical foundation

The audit checks how important pages are reached and presented, whether indexing signals are consistent, how redirects and duplicate URLs are handled, and whether templates or mobile performance create obstacles. Available Search Console information helps connect public observations with Google’s view of the site.

Findings distinguish confirmed issues from hypotheses needing further investigation. A correlation between a traffic change and a website update is not enough to establish a cause; the report should explain the evidence and what would help test the explanation.

Examine demand and page coverage

A technically healthy site may still be targeting the wrong searches or missing important service information. I compare what your business wants to sell with the topics and pages that currently represent it, then identify gaps, overlaps and weak customer answers.

For Atlanta-focused businesses, geography is considered alongside intent. A search containing Atlanta and a search made by someone in the wider area are not automatically the same dataset. The recommendations keep your actual market and service coverage in view.

Follow the visitor through to an enquiry

The review looks beyond a landing page’s title. A prospective customer needs to understand the offer, assess relevant evidence, find contact information and complete the next step. Confusing navigation or a broken form can prevent a useful visit from becoming a lead.

Where analytics and conversion data are available, we review their meaning and limitations. A conversion event should correspond to the action you care about, and spam or low-quality enquiries should not be treated as proof of successful customer acquisition.

Put the findings in priority order

Recommendations are organized around business impact, confidence, effort and dependencies. You should be able to identify urgent problems, important improvements and lower-priority opportunities without guessing which warning color matters most.

Each substantial recommendation explains the affected area, the reason for acting and the expected implementation check. If a developer, content specialist or business owner needs to supply something, that dependency is stated clearly so the plan can move forward.

Keep the review useful after delivery

An audit can support your internal team, a developer or a later execution engagement. The written findings remain useful even if you choose a different implementation route. You are not required to buy monthly work simply to understand the diagnosis.

I review the conclusions with you in writing and answer questions about the proposed next steps. If implementation is included, it is defined separately so there is no confusion between a recommendation being delivered and a fix being published.

Choose the right depth

A free initial website review helps establish whether I can help and where a deeper investigation may be worthwhile. A detailed SEO audit is a separately scoped engagement, with depth and access requirements matched to the size and complexity of the site.

Send the website, your main concern and any relevant dates, such as a redesign or a noticeable change in enquiries. I will explain what a suitable audit would cover before you decide whether to proceed.

Clear answers before you commit

Service questions, answered

Is the initial review the same as a full audit?

No. The initial review establishes the situation and potential next step. A full audit has an agreed scope, deeper investigation and documented recommendations.

Will an audit include competitor research?

It can. We define whether the audit needs search-demand comparison, competing page analysis or a broader market review rather than assuming every competitor question requires the same work.

Can you investigate a traffic drop?

Yes. Useful inputs include the affected dates, Search Console and analytics access, and a history of major site changes. Conclusions are tied to evidence, with uncertainty explained where necessary.

Can my team implement the recommendations?

Yes. The report can be structured for handoff, with clear priorities and implementation checks. You are not required to retain me for ongoing execution.

How is an audit priced?

The quote depends on site complexity, scope and access requirements. You receive the proposed work and price in writing before the detailed audit starts.

Does the audit guarantee recovery?

No. It identifies evidence, priorities and a route forward. Search recovery depends on the actual causes, implementation and factors outside the website’s control.
