Google Business Profile management for Atlanta businesses

Make the information customers see about your business accurate, useful and easy to act on. I help eligible businesses review and manage Google Business Profiles as part of a practical local-search strategy.

A straightforward working process

Know what is being done.
Understand why it matters.

No mystery checklist. Your business priorities determine the SEO work.

  1. STEP 01

    Understand

Your business, customers, market and the work that is worth winning.

  2. STEP 02

    Prioritize

A research-led roadmap with a clear order, ownership and measurable goals.

  3. STEP 03

    Implement

Technical fixes, useful pages and a conversion path that works on real devices.

  4. STEP 04

    Review

Search performance and qualified inquiries, then the next set of decisions.

Your profile is often the first conversation

Before a customer visits your website, they may check your services, opening hours, reviews, photos and contact options on Google. Incomplete or outdated information can create friction at exactly the point when they are deciding who to contact.

Profile work starts with understanding the business. We establish what customers can expect, where the company operates and whether it serves people at its premises, at customer locations or both. That operating model should guide the representation.

Review eligibility and account access

I review the existing profile and available ownership access before recommending changes. When a business needs a new profile or a verification step, we identify the information required and the actions that must be completed by the owner.

Google decides eligibility and verification outcomes. We prepare accurate information and work through the available process; we do not manufacture an address, add a fictional branch or promise that a verification issue will disappear on a particular date.

Present the right services clearly

The review covers the business name, categories, contact information, hours, service details and website destination. Categories and descriptions should reflect what the business actually does, while the linked page should help the visitor understand that offer in more detail.

For an Atlanta showroom, an architect and a home-service contractor, that may mean different customer information and different website pages. We make those choices around your business rather than copying a competitor’s configuration without considering whether it fits.

Use genuine photos and customer feedback

Useful images help explain the business: premises customers can visit, completed work, products, team members who actually work there and other relevant details. I help identify what information is missing and how available assets can support the profile and website together.

Review management can include a consistent process for asking genuine customers for feedback and a practical approach to replies. We do not offer purchased reviews or condition requests on whether someone is likely to leave a positive rating.

Keep changes and responsibilities visible

Business details can change, and profile management should not depend on remembering which contractor controls an account. We clarify ownership, access and the information your business needs to provide, such as holiday hours or a changed service offering.

Updates are recorded so you know what was changed and why. If a suggested edit affects business identity, verification or a sensitive account issue, it receives appropriate attention rather than being treated as a routine keyword adjustment.

Connect activity with useful enquiries

Profile activity is valuable context, but it is not the same as a closed customer. We review the available interactions alongside website activity and your own enquiry records where possible. The aim is to understand whether people are taking the actions your business needs.

A profile may be attracting the wrong service requests, or the linked website may leave common questions unanswered. That feedback helps improve categories, descriptions and landing-page content as appropriate, while keeping the business information accurate.

Start with a profile review

Send the profile link, your website and a short description of how customers work with you. If you cannot access the existing profile, say so at the start. I will explain what can be reviewed immediately and which ownership or verification steps need your involvement.

Profile management can stand alone or form part of a broader local SEO engagement. You receive a written scope, direct communication and a clear account of the work, without surrendering ownership of your business presence.

Clear answers before you commit

Service questions, answered

Can you create a Google Business Profile?

For an eligible business, I can help prepare and manage the setup process. The owner may need to complete Google’s verification requirements and provide information about the real business.

Do I need to display my home address?

That depends on how the business operates and Google’s requirements. We review whether you are a customer-facing location or a service-area business before recommending the appropriate representation.

Can you recover a suspended profile?

I can review the situation and help identify the available correction or appeal steps. Google controls the final decision, and recovery cannot be guaranteed.

Who owns the profile?

Your business should retain ownership. We use the access needed for the agreed work rather than making your profile dependent on a provider’s account.

Will changing categories improve rankings immediately?

Categories should accurately describe the business. Any visibility change needs to be assessed in context; a category edit is not a guaranteed ranking shortcut.

Is ongoing management necessary?

It depends on how often information changes and what the review finds. Some businesses need an initial cleanup, while others benefit from regular maintenance alongside broader local SEO.
